Documents you'll usually need

• 1. Documents Required from the Applicant (Nepal)
• 1. Original valid passport (with at least one blank page).
• 2. Three photocopies of the passport bio-data page.
• 3. Recent photograph (45 mm × 35 mm, white background, taken within the last 6 months).
• 4. Original bank balance certificate.
• 5. Income certificate or tax payment certificate.
• 6. Relationship certificate (for visiting relatives, issued within the last 90 days).
• 2. Documents Required from the Sponsor/Inviter in Japan
• 1. Copy of passport bio-data page
• 2. Copy of Residence Card (front and back).
• 3. Certificate of Residence (Juminhyo), including family relationships.
• 4. Certified copy of Family Register (Koseki Tohon), if the inviter or their spouse is Japanese and the applicant is visiting relatives.
• 5. Documents proving the relationship between the applicant and the inviter, as applicable.
• 3. Additional Documents Required from the Financial Guarantor in Japan
• Required when the guarantor covers the applicant's travel expenses.
• 1. Letter of Guarantee.
• 2. Latest income/taxation certificate showing gross income for the previous year, or tax payment certificate.
• 3. Alternatively, a copy of the final tax return with the tax office's receipt seal. For e-Tax, provide the Receipt Notification and Final Tax Return.
• 4. Alternatively, a certificate of deposit balance.
• 5. Certificate of Residence with the required details, excluding My Number and Resident Record Code, if the guarantor is a foreign national.
